Fallout 3 GOTY DLC Issues

I am having trouble with the Fallout 3 DLC's, I have installed the first and seconds disks and they have both installed correctly but when I launch Fallout 3 the DLC's are not shwoing under the downloads menu in the main menu of Fallout 3. Any help resolving the issue would be much apreciated.

are you sure you've installed them to the right place?

and maybe you want to try FOMM for loading the game, it is much better than the game menu

now, i don't know what game you have (CD, GFWL etc), but there have been reports before, of files being installed in the wrong places

so make sure that the DLC's are installed into your Fallout folder

I just bought the GOTY edition as well. When I installed both discs and started playing, the DLC's didn't get automatically ticked in the data files manager. Maybe check that they are all ticked in the launcher or in FOMM.

now i think i misunderstood your problem

i'm not sure what the "download" section is, in the main menu, but you do have to check the DLC's in the "Data Files" when opening the game normally, or using FOMM, which is by far the better option

if you have checked the files, than the DLC's should work

and if you can't find the files, than they weren't installed to the right location

i have heard from people that have had their DLC's installed in their user folder, instead of in the Fallout folder, where you've installed the game

so make sure this isn't the case for you :tongue:

this is because the downloads option in the main menu

 

is for purchasing DLC online!!!!!!!

 

and you already have them.

 

Use FOMM to activate them - much better option than the launcher
