Paxan_1
That's good to know! I'm sure I can persuade my dad to give me a bit extra money... >^.^< that's still working for myself :teehee:
katashy
Right, this is the last thing... @Illiad, How well does the 5770 run new games? I'm wanting to play Fallout New Vegas on it when it comes out. Thanks.
Illiad86
Hmm well the newest game I've played on it is Tomb Raider Underworld...everything maxed, 1920x1200, 8xAA, 16xAF. 60+FPS everywhere haha...but that game has a good engine. I tried out Crysis on it...1920x1200, high settings (don't have dx10 or 11 so yeah), 8xAA, 8xAF, averaged 30FPS haha. Might have to get a demo of something newer and see...what would be a good one? Oblivion with QTPIII, 1920x1200, HDR, 8xAA, 16xAF, high res armour, clothing, and clutter textures...average 50FPS outdoors, 60+ FPS indoors, 45FPS during battles, about 35FPS in heavily congested areas. Still have the "tree popping", but it's much quicker than it used to be on my old card. It's a matter of how well the game is optimized it seems. It will run Fallout New Vegas without a problem I'm sure. But it really depends on how well Beth makes the game. If it's make like garbage, it'll play like garbage. I'm sure they've learned their lesson lol.
