Everything had been going along well but all of the sudden I started getting crashes. It was 0xc0000005 errors and when googled it and it says memory error. but I've running 8GB of memory and ran memtest and everything is okay. So I thought maybe it was Graphic card because I thought it was running fine befor updating the cardbut once I reinstalled the older drives it continues to happen. I was running a Nvidia GeForce GTX-470 with 1GB of memory, So I thought maybe I'd update the card to an Readon R9 280x 3GB card but I'm still getting the same 0xc0000005 error codes. Here is the Event error.

It does not matter how much RAM you have. You could have 2GB or 100GB, the game only utilizes 2GB unless you apply the Large Address Aware Enabler: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6510/?

Fallout 3 has a problem running on a CPU with more than 2 cores. There is an .ini edit that must be made to limit your CPU to only 2 cores.

See this for the most common solutions: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1465357-installing-fallout-3-with-windows-78-and-xp/

You do not pick and choose what you want to do. You need to do all the fixes.

I had already applied the 2 core fix but hadn't done the 2GB fix until today. If there are other fixes please tell because it's still crashing and getting the same error code.

Fallout3 is a 32 bit game - that means it can only use a MAXIMUM of 4G of system ram - no matter how much you have. And to get more than 2G you need a 4G patch in place. Then, in reality it will never reach that 4G max because of game engine limitations. Other limitations come into it based on your video also - the more video ram you have ( up to a point) the better it will work. It still has problems with multiple video cards ( crossfire or SLI setups) and runs better on a single video card.

FYI - Bethesda's newest - Skyrim is also 32 bit, but comes with the 4G already enabled - We haven't seen a real 64 bit game from Bethesda yet.

I'm not sure what you are trying to tell me, this is not an xbox version it's a PC version. Don't mean to be dense just bot sure how those links apply to me.

So from what you are saying I've done all that I can and I just have to live with the crashes?

The game shipped with "as of now" an out dated version of GFWL. "Yes it is an xbox game" it is also an PS game too. this was a conversion supplied by the publisher.

the first link is for a fully Updated compatible version for 64 /32 bit games...mainly you need updated software for the engine to use. It will install 64bit compatible codecs for your 32bit game the game will now use.

"you need to update Games For windows Live" For windows 7 ,8,8.1 ,and windows 10.

as far as disputing "xbox" it''s software is Embedded in the game bsa archives, it has software for the xbox controllers as a lot of PC users use that controller for this game.

No , it's not a xbox game from your stand point, but it is the source for this game. update your systems software and deal with the after math.

if it is retail, you have secure rom installed also ...only if it is the GOTY edition and the DLC packages were installed.

that is shipped and installed with the second CD.

No, that's not what he means. you need to study the links I provided. the links are updated from the company that provided the codes for the game in 2007 for use in Bethesda games. It was used for achievements so you could use their merits systems online. It is also an anti cheat software as well.

It was used also for many languages , a cross platform distribution. the only differences were the setup and engine packages. All the source materials were isolated and separated too. I have seen box users upload conversions here, data that has sense been removed that points to textures and mesh file that do not come with the PC version yet work, but are not in it. this can be seen in the creatures used for monster add ons.

I have no limits to ram on my games, if I did not take care of the programing for windows 7 or any other version at this late date, then yes, there are limits. Game crashes out at around 1.6 gig's there is a ton of reasons a modded game will crash constantly.

there are a number of reasons that can be counted upon for a non modified game to crash out, you faults lay in that arena.

Additional nexus support can be found here:(http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/160493-help-the-ordinal-5360-could-not-be-located-in-the-dynamic-link-library/

)

you issue is a constant crashing of a well known flaw. update the software so it will work right.

Well I tried to do the Windows Live update like you recommended but I keep getting this error " The client must point to the same Windows Live ID environment as the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant service." and if I hit trouble shoot I get a "Opps page not present". I should note I have FOMM running and I installed the

Games for Windows LIVE Disable mod. I must be missing something but I'm not sure what. This is the 2CD GOTH version 1.7, I guess I'll just uninstall and re-install but it would be helpful if you could provide detail instruction as to what I should do to make sure the game is playable. I am suffering from a id10t error and need enlightenment.

I don't think you can update Games for Windows Live when you have it disabled. You do not need G4WL Disabler when you are using FOMM. In the "tools" section there is an option to run the fake G4WL .bsa.

By the way, I know there is a Game of the Year version, but I never heard of a GOTH version
