chazzranger
Just finishing playtesting my Breezehome mod, and everything works good except for random weirdness from our favorite Glitch Queen, Lydia. I have a few new AI packages for her (for combat dummy training, for sleep, and a new sandbox package) and for the most part she does great, she moves around Breezehome ok, uses idle markers, does her scheduled combat training, goes to bed as scheduled, etc. But very often while sandboxing, she goes to the front door, leaves, and then starts this endless loop of reappearing near the door, opening the door, and leaving again. If I talk to her or hit her or FUS RO DAH her, she sometimes snaps out of it. I've remade her sandbox package a few times (basically copied the vanilla sandbox with a few idle additions), set her sandbox to take place IN Breezehome, set her to NOT wander, I've tweaked and re-tweaked the nav mesh, no preferred path to the door or anything... Any ideas why this is happening? Is there a way to get her to stay put in Breezehome unless she's following me and leaves with me? (On a side note, sometimes when I tell her to follow me, she says Yup, lead the way etc, but then totally ignores me. I have a feeling it's script lag related, this mod has a fair amount to it, but I digress) How do I make her stay in the house? Thanks in advance for any insight! Valkasha
Is your breezehome modded? Does she only do this if you're upstairs? What distance is she set to sandbox?
soupdragon1234
Take a look at the navmesh again, I'm willing to bet you deleted both original navmeshes CB4F3 and CB4F4 and created a new one. Don't. Open TES5edit and remove both deleted navmeshes and change the name of your navmesh to CB4F3 for non-hearthfires or CB4F4 if you're using hearthfires. You cannot successfully delete interior navmeshes from Master files from within a mod. Make your mod a master and its fine but a plugin is a no-no. Yup I deleted the entire navmesh and started from scratch. Just did all of the above and diving back in to playtest. You are awesome, good sir!
