Not able to Save in CS

Hopefully this is the right place for this.

 

I am trying to edit a mod using the construction set and whenever I go to save it I get a message telling me to close all open dialog boxes. The exact error is this, "You must close all open Dialog Boxes before saving." Now I get this exact error even if all I have done is start the construction set and then go to save as if I was saving a new mod. Also I get this message just as I select save, I do not even get the option of where to save anything. Oh the only things open when I first open the program are the render window, object window and cell view.

 

This is installed on a Windows 7 Ultimate system using the stream version of oblivion. I have UAC off, and have the construction set and oblivion both set to run as administrator. They are also both installed in their default locations. I do know that there are issues with permissions for saving but I don't see how that would happen

 

I have looked on the internet for a solution but have found no one having this same issue.

 

Any one have any clue?

Try editing a small thing in the .ini for the CS. If you don't know where the .ini is, it's by default in My Games\Oblivion\ConstructioNSet.ini.

 

Change BAllowUnsafeSave to 1.

 

THat'll allow you to save with dialog boxes open, though I'm not sure what causes that problem.
