FurAfterDark Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Ok, So i am trying to download Fallout 3 Game of the year edition from Steam. And I start the download and after a few seconds steam says "busy writing to disk" and my PC starts to freeze, like, first i cannot click on Steam, then firefox stops loading, then i cannot even click on the task bar or even move the mouse. and once this nonsenses stops after like 10 mins, Steam will be closed without warning. I have tried downloading it without having anything else open, i have tried reinstalling Steam, i've ran virus scans, i ran Ccleaner and i have tried downloading Fallout 3 at least 12 times and it does the same thing each time. and i've googled this problem and have found nothing. So i really need some help. lol. What you have described is not a Fallout 3 problem. You would do better contacting steam support to get help with a steam problem.
