GiraffeMonster Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 Hello. I've been browsing the Nexus sites for Oblivion mods for quite a while now. I've also had a glimpse of the other Nexus sites. This however, is my first time posting on the Nexus forums, and I'm happy to be doing it. I've had Oblivion since 2008, then quit and started up again several times. I got back into it again just a while ago. Throughout my time browsing different communities for resources that The Nexus offers, I believe that this place is the one that I enjoy being around the most. The people seem friendly, and the staff seem active and helpful. I hope to fit in with this community, as well as help other people along the way. Thanks. And of course I also used the wonderfull site TESSource when it was that for all my modding needs. So with that this is also my first post on a new account (mainly because my old account name was...simply put..childish haha) seeing I actually picked up Oblivion again this past week. So with that. GiraffeMonster Posted July 13, 2010 Author Share Posted July 13, 2010 Wow, more similarities. I've had this system I'm on right now since 2008 (when I got Oblivion). It can barely run it, I'm on performance mods as well as low settings. Not only that, but I also had a previous account, with a name I didn't prefer. I never posted with it though. Also I switched to a different system because my power supply burnt out through insufficient cooling. Replaced it with an ATX power supply and an ATX case to go along with it. ABDGuitarist Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 Aye thanks Pushkatu :)Thats funny though, My old laptop was a Compaq...something or rather(don't even care to think of it) and its power supply overheated several times. Thing could BARELY play Oblivion on its lowest settings with performance mods. I'm in heaven in a sense...I just picked up an ASUS G60V and it plays Oblivion on the highest possible settings with no lag at all. Honestly didn't expect that when I started it up haha.(now trying to figure out how to add people as friends..half asleep and being hungry is no help ): ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ParaHaXz Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 There is a Mod called Oldblivion (< Click the Link) which aids people with a PC which has trouble running oblivion.
