LegoManIAm94
I am trying to find objects in the CS by usng the find option but it never works. It worked with the CS for Morrowind. And I was wondering how I change a objects category. Such as a static to a activator but uses the same mesh. I cannot make a new since it is in the Oblivion bsa. DavidBudreck
The "Find" command only works when editing scripts. Use the "Find Text" command; that works very well; it can find anything, even Form & Editor ID's, etc. You cannot directly change the type of an object. It is a pain. You have to create a new object of the type, then selct the meshes, etc. If you want to use things from the Oblivion.bsa, you need to unpack them.Use this: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3117 What I did, was unpack the Oblivion.esm and all the Shivering ESM files into a folder that I keep off to the side. Do that just before you go to bed because it will take a while. Then, when I need a mesh or icon, I get the path from the Editor, search through my BSA Files folder, copy, and paste into my Data folder following the exact same path, creating new folders as necessary. Yes, this is a pain. No, there is no other way.
