AIex
Hi I'm new to DA modding, I'm trying to install the natural bodies mod using the override feature but when ever I start up DA it is the games default body. also when I right click the installed mod I can't click on "config". I'm not even sure if I'm dragging and dropping the mod in the right place, am I suppose to drag and drop the override file two times: once into the packages/core/override/natural bodies all in one and bioware/dragon age/modules/single player/override/natural bodies all in one? DarkeWolf
Heyas Alex- Well, natural bodies all in one isnt your standard mod, and its a little more difficult than most.First, start over. Uninstall it, check your documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override and documents/bioware/dragon age/addins folders for leftover files from nbiao and delete them.then use my tutorial- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/articles/article.php?id=38and that should get you rolling. If you have any problems/questions, post back here. I dont receive notifications to anything that anybody posts at the article. ;) Good luck, and hope this helps! :)

plaj3r
Hmm, I have a little problem with Nbaio.override. When I drag it over to da mod manager I recieve an error message: No valid mod data was found at the specified location, although I have put the dazip file into daupdater and it worked correctly... Any ideas?
DarkeWolf
K, you're confusing me here. Because from the sounds of it, you're using two mods. Natural bodies comes in a dazip, but Natural Bodies all in One is a .overrideAnd was the attempt in DAMM with the .override file before or after the .dazip was installed? If it was After, then there may be a conflict that is causing the error message. please post links to this .dazip file that you're talking about, so I know for sure which mods we're dealing with ;)

Which one should I instal then? There's no configuration available neither in the dazip mod nor the override.
DarkeWolf
Ok, I just DL'd and extracted the latest (3.0) version to try to figure out what you're talkin about here. I think, you've got your terminology mixed up, which is what is throwing me off. With the 3.0 version, there isnt a .dazip file. It comes packed up in a .7z file which, when extracted, (extraction isn't installing) contains a .override file. Double clicking on a .dazip file to install it? I dont know how to accomplish that. If this is something new, Definitely please share. because I've always had to drag n drop .dazips to install them. And x2c them would be Much easier. Which version number did you download? I'm not seeing a readme file in the 3.0 version. All you should have to do, is drag and drop the .override file into the installed override's pane of DaMM. And it should start up. If you drop it into the wrong pane such as installed dazip's it won't work.IF you've got a listing for it in "dazips" then you need to remove that, and then DnD it into the Override's pane. RustyBlade
Double clicking on a .dazip file to install it? I dont know how to accomplish that.If you associate the file type .dazip with DA Content Updater you can click or double click (depending on preference) and the Updater will automatically start with the content ready to be selected and installed. Right click the file, select Open With, browse to DA Updater, select and put a check in the box for always open with and you are there. I confirm your results on the DL and override - there is no readme other than on the file's page. It says:Install:=================- you must download the mod- Unzip the file on your computer with 7zip.- Remove previous versions of Natural Bodies.- use the override file with the DAO Modmanager (Drag and Drop the *. override file in the list installed overrides in modmanager)- right click on the installed mod and select config- set the settings as you want them You can also set the overrides to fire up DAMM should you so desire.
