Vsync Not Working / Terrible Screen Tearing

I can't get rid of the flickering / tearing whenever I look sideways.

I've used Skyrim's vsync, Nvidias vsync, and triple buffering.

 

Nvidia 9400GT 1gb (all I can afford).

 

I've got 109 mods, but nothing graphical.

Also I use FPS Limiter. HiAlgoBoost absolutely destroyed my game.

 

Any clues on how to fix or at least reduce this?

I assume you don't use ENB. But do you use ENBoost? ENB has its own vsync, and maybe the non-graphical ENBoost still uses it. If so, look for "vsync" in one of the enb ini files.

 

Also, what do you mean by "FPS limiter", and have you tried disabling it while testing all the forms of vsync you mentioned?

Being below the min specs for the game...and then adding 109 mods ...what can you expect? The poor GPU can not keep up.

 

Look for Reduced Vanilla textures...

Play the Vanilla game....

FPS Limiter is the simple program that locks the framerate at a set FPS, helping reduce stuttering and "excessive" mouse movement. And I do use EN Boost, but it makes no difference either. It actually creates a lot of lag.

So I've narrowed it down and found SKSE is definitely the cause. Any ideas why?
