Water refractions bug...

Hi,

 

I have a problem with the water refractions option. The fallout launcher detects my graphic card and sets everything to ultra high.

While ingame when i have water refractions on, the game slows down by 15 FPS, not just near water sources but everywhere.

I have a 4850 graphic card and i think that it doesnt like Fallout 3's shaders. When water refractions are turned off i cant see the sky underwater just the purple bumpmap texture, and in some mods that have moving water (like Mini hideout) the water is totaly black, no meshes just a solid black texture.

Is there any way to fix this? I searched on the internet but i couldn't find any answer.

I was having some nasty water problems as well try renaming this file atimgpud.dll in your main fallout3 folder so that its a different file type. You just need to rename it you dont have to delete it but you can if you want same final outcome but renaming keeps it there incase you need it later or it doesn't work or instability after or something. I just renamed mine to atimgpud.dllblppphh and the water problems were gone.
