Eye problems

I downloaded custom races and the required conflicting cosmetic mods.Dowloaded the WolfElf and the Soqui Race, as well as a few that required the Beautiful People mod, along with the bp cosmetic compilation (those two require capucines character expansion)

Basicaly, i have the four eye glitch. With one active/installed some races mess up, others dont. With the other installed the one set is fixed and the base races' eyes go wonky :P.

I was wondering if there was a way to get these mods to "play nice". Have the tesgecko, if that matters, but a merge of the two failed :(

Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem.

Beautiful People was one of the early mods that changed eyes, and many of the later mods used a different technique causing a conflict resulting in strange eyes. Some race mods change the eyes while others do not.

They may not play nice together. If you're gonna use my (outdated)BP Cosmetic Compilation, do not install Capucine's Character Expansion fully. The requirement was only for some CCE hairs. Since Beautiful People replaces default eye meshes with Elaborate Eyes meshes, it often does not work well with custom races and other mods. To fix the problem, you will need to edit those mod with Construction Set to make them work well with BP. However, as long as any custom race uses its own eye meshes(not default eye meshes), it won't have eye problem with BP, unless the character becomes vampire(it always happens due to difference of UV mapping between eye meshes).
