No DLC (Moderately Modded)

Hey,

 

The DLC simply do not appear. While this appears to be a common issue I have tried the typical solutions to fix this, such as checking them off. If anyone has a suggestion I would GREATLY appreciate it.

 

I use FOMM, Windows7, I run the game through steam with FOSE renamed to FalloutLauncher and there are no apparent issues with the mods, everything looks great.

The correct load order:

Fallout 3

Anchorage

ThePitt

BrokenSteel

PointLookout

Zeta

 

You cannot have FOOK and FWE in the same game. Choose one or the other.

 

If you intend to keep FWE, disable and uninstall MMM-Tougher Traders, Zones Respawn and Natural Selection. They are part of FWE.

 

You do not need FWE-Project Beauty (Followers Enhanced), you are not using Broken Steel (Followers Enhanced)

 

You are missing compatibility patches for MMM, WMK and RH_Ironsights.

 

Your FWE, MMM and RH_Ironsights plugins are in the wrong order also. See the recommended load order on the FWE description page.

Hey,

 

I appreciate you hitting me back. I spent about three hours fixing EVERYTHING. All the DLC are appearing and the game looks incredible. So for that I thank you.

 

Now, I get the occasional lag spike and crash every 5 to 10 minutes. Do you think it could be in regards to a compatibility mod I need?

Use only one "Optional Restore Tracers".

 

Disable and uninstall all of your Marts Mutant Mod and get the new merged one from Paradox Ignition. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16787/?

 

It is the only one supported by Blackened. While you are there, you might as well get the RH_Ironsights and Fellout mergers.

 

I believe I have seen that Enhanced Weather need to be loaded after Fellout. I don't use Enhanced Weather, so you might want to look into that.

 

If you decide not to use the merged Fellout, then disable and uninstall the DLC plugins. They are not necessary with Fellout-Full. They are only available to use is you don't have all the DLCs. The mod author made the individual plugins so that users could download the ones they needed.

Just to clarify, FOOK2 contains Refurbish DLC by JustinOther which changes the DLC quest triggers to be more appropriate and immersive.

 

I re-did everything to remove FOOK. Anchorage still appeared probably because the radio signal can be heard from the start? I would really like FOOK but concerned about the conflict with FWE which is the primary MOD I want.

So I am to remove all MMM mods...OR...remove all MMM merger mods?

 

Should I be using all the paradox mergers over the Blackened?

Paradox Ignition merges plugins into one mod. Blackened provides compatibility between mods. Two different things. It is not use either/or, it is use both.

Is there a specific reason why FWE and FOOK don't work or is that too long of a reason?

Both FWE and FOOK are a major overhaul of the game. They both change many of the same things in the game and therefore conflict in many ways. So much so, that they cannot be used in the same game. I tried FOOK on a game after having used FWE on a previous game and could not progress past a certain point in the game with FOOK. It would continually crash. I uninstalled FOOK and went back to FWE.
