hey all, i am going to try to write a series of books based on a character named Calliton, but im afraid it will be pronounced wrong

 

can you guys say how you think it is pronounced?

 

for example

 

name thor

pronounced like core

 

 

my name has more syllables, so for each sound, please tell me how it sounds to you

oh and by the way it is pronounced as follows

Ca as in cat

lli as in lick

ton as in a ton

 

pleae tell me if thats how you think its pronounced

I don't know why but I always think Call-ih-shun even though there is no "sh" sound anywhere in your username. Also I just now thought of Call-i-tun.

I think you should go with your original name cuz it sounds great and it's easy to read, at least for me. So the best in my opinion is calliton.8)

how you put it out in syllables is how I always thought it was pronounced :)
