I've had a look over at Steam and can't find it in the Library, I can't see it in my Profile: Skyrim folder. Should I download it from the Torrent site? Is it on the Nexus somewhere?Do I need to download the patch at all if I bought the Skyrim Legendary Edition multi-disc pack? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

camaro_69_327 Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Once Steam updates the game their is no Patch to look at or view, the game will just have a new version Number. Ways to check version #.... Start the game >press [ESC]> on the lower left you will see the version # (Just inside the box). In windows explorer> Right click TESV.exe >Properties>Click on the "Details" tab. The version # is showing. IF Steam is already set to Update the game and has not done it yet, you can force the update. Use steam to ..."Verify Game cache files" this will update the game . Speaking further of attempting to or physically do such will result in you being permanently removed from Nexus. If you have legitimate version of Skyrim then the only way to obtain legitimate versions of various files needed to run Skyrim properly is through Steam.
