Deleted3507349User
So, I'm just the latest in a looooong line of sad people trying to get decent playability out of Oblivion with a controller. Needless to say, every 'solution' is a hodge-podge at best (usually the control schemes fall apart at the inventory or barter screens). I got to looking at what OBSE is capable of, and it looks like a plugin could be made that - in conjunction with something like Joy2Key, XPadder, or Pinnacle - would essentially remap the keys on the fly depending on what you were doing in-game. Now, no doubt a script like this would be horribly slow and laggy on the game. Therefore, my question is to any of you wizardly types that actually understand dlls and how to make them; is honest-to-goodness xinput functionality possible through a dll? Sort of like how various other dlls (like d3d9.dll, for instance) add functionality?
