  1. Applying real-world concepts to the Fallout universe is pointless. The wasteland itself is reflective what the pre-war people thought a nuclear apocalypse would result in. Pre-war Fallout and the post-war wasteland derive directly from 1950s-era 'world of the future' imaginings. I'm surprised there aren't giant carrot monsters a la "It Conquered the World".
  2. Sure, there are several options for men's hats that boost charisma and the like, but there's really nothing for the ladies. Inspiration... https://vintagedancer.com/1950s/1950s-womens-hats-by-style/
  3. Just as the title says, it'd be great to have clean paint free of rust and scratches on the bots we build ourselves.
  4. I'm not really worried about it because it's kinda funny, but she's about the size of Twiki now.
  5. If you've got the Hi-Res DLC, ditch it. It doesn't do all that much and it's a memory hog which will drag your FPS down.
  6. Alternatively, you could do what I did a long time ago; get a Steam Controller and map whatever you want wherever you want.
  7. The only time I see that warning is when I'm going nutz activating and installing mods. It sorts itself out during the next plugin sort.
  8. I'm using Vortex with Morrowind, Oblivion Skyrim SE, FO3, FO:NV, and FO4. It appears to be working beautifully.
  9. Yep. All you can do is revert to a save from before you installed the mod. Not all scripts get baked into a save, 'fire once and forget' scripts can usually be uninstalled without causing problems but scripts that run continually (usually tied to quests) persist. It may not even be a script in your case, it could be a game setting or some such that was altered by the mod. It's important to read any uninstall notes (if any) on a mod page before uninstalling a mod mid-playthrough.
  10. Here's one of my own: Father is the true Sole Survivor. The player is actually Shaun with implanted memories.
  11. Does it happen with a NEW game with those mods removed?
  12. The source code for Enhanced Camera for FO:NV is available. Possible to port/convert? https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55334/?
  13. Hey there, old pros (which is nearly anyone who isn't me)! What are the possibilities of taking the source code of this to create an FO4 version? https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55334/?
  14. There's a few mods that change the console. I don't use 'em myself.
  15. Pretty sure the [PgUp] and [PgDn] keys allow you to scroll up and down the lines in the console.
  16. Does anyone know of a mod similar to Salvage Beacons for FO4? Seems to me I saw a couple but my search-fu is inadequate for the task of finding them. Also, I'm having a problem with flickering roof textures and darned if I can find a solution for that either. I used to be able to find solutions to these kind of problems, apparently age is catching up to me. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18757
  17. Odd that Fallout 76 has dragons while Skyrim had wyverns.
  18. Yup, Todd announced it tonight at E3. Looks like they managed to get the wallpapers done, so maybe we'll see it by 2024.
  19. I tried recently the beta DynDOLOD for SSE. It worked, but there were problems with textures occasionally going missing and SSE got crashy. I personally am going to wait until it gets a Nexus release.
  20. I had multiple dragons a few times in Oldrim, it's nothing new. Run For Your Lives is good. I also recommend Dawnguard Sentries Plus.
  21. What happens if you set Steam to offline mode? I've noticed lately that if Steam is in online mode it will randomly tab me out of the game and I have to alt-tab to get back in. Windows 10 here.
  22. WAITAMINNIT! If these are 'mini-DLC' or whatever why do I have to pay for them? I bought the season pass and part of deal was (and I quote) was getting all DLC offered for the game.
