zprospero
You're welcome. I also updated the normal maps for the other textures. Makes it look a bit more dirty looking, I think. http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/RotBlade100.jpg What exactly do you mean by inward? With the skull's mouths facing the blade or away from it?
ub3rman123
How'd you make it rusty-looking? Overlay an existing image of rust or paint it in some magic tool I know nothing of?
kieranfoy
Oooh, that looks sweet. I don't mean rotate the skulls or anything, just move them so that they're closer tot he center, and don't stick out so much. Move the backs of the skulls towards the opposite skull, if that makes sense. @Uberman: He used a texture I supplied.
zprospero
What do you think of this? http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/PlagueSword.jpg After reading what you said again... You want the skulls rotated in so the jaws are up against the hilt? @ub3rman123 Do you mean the normal map part?

kieranfoy
I think it's beautiful! I mean, REALLY beautiful, in a horrid way. Nope, not rotated. Shifted inwards. Each skull moving towards the center line of the blade. SO that the corsspiece isn't as wide. Actually, while doing that, could you remove the jaws? That might actually make it work better... And then you'd have to rotate the skulls so the roof of their mouths lay flush with the hit bit...
zprospero
How about this? http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/PlagueSword2.jpg Ah, I got it backwards didn't I?
kieranfoy
Well, the angles are good, but yeah, the skulls are farther apart where they should be closer. @Calliton: No.
zprospero
I think I got it this time. http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/Plaguebringer.jpg
kieranfoy
Oh, stars, I suck at explaining, don't I? This is like the Three Stooges, but with only me for a Stooge! The angles of the skulls were perfect in the picture before last. The spacing, though... well, I drew a picture: http://s784.photobucket.com/albums/yy121/Kieranfoy/?action=view¤t=Untitled-1.jpg It's the sword's hilt. Skulls not to scale.
