Problem getting Exnem's Body Replacer to install

I apologize if this has been solved before; I've look around the internet for the past hour and a half or so with no luck. Anyway, so I've downloaded the OMOD version of Exnem's Female Eye Candy body replacer and installed it. Oblivion Mod Manager says it's been installed and activated, but when I start the game the bodies still look like their default versions. I've been messing with it for a while now but it still hasn't changed.

Any kind of help would be appreciated, and again I apologize if this has been brought up before. I'm still relatively new to these things, though I have successfully managed to install a number of mods. Thanks in advance! :)

Windows 7. It's set on BSA Redirection, but it didn't really change anything.

In that case, I don't think the mod was installed. If you have Oblivion installed to the default folder, Program Files (x86), it is in the UAC's territory. The UAC is not allowing OBMM to modify the Data folder. Reinstall Oblivion to C:\Games, and everything will install just fine. Make sure to patch your game to the latest version, if it is not v1.2.0416.

Happy gaming!

Weird, because I'm pretty sure OBMM modified that folder before. Okay, I'm a little hesitant to reinstall it in C:\Games. Will I lose the data I already have on it? Because there is a LOT I have in current saved games that I'm not sure I want to lose.

You should install Oblivion to C:Games on Vista or 7. Your saved games will not be erased, and will still be put in the same place. You can copy your Oblivion Folder before you "reinstall the game" and just merge the folders when you are done. All of your mods will still be installed. You may need to modify some of your desktop icons to point to the new location of Oblivion.EDIT P.S. How do you know the mod is not working? Did you kill a female bandit and loot her armor? The mod just changes the female bodies and not the clothing or armor. You will be wanting a clothing replacer for Exnem, but you could upgrade to HGEC and use an HGEC replacer instead.I will recommend Eve as a replacer for HGEC because it is an OMOD already, and when you decide to add an overhaul like OOO or FCOM the esp's for compatabilityare already available.

No, one of my characters is a female Breton and my main file has a woman as a companion, so that's how I've been checking. Anyway, sweet, I'll give that a shot and see if it works. Thanks! :)

EDIT: Well, that was unexpected. Apparently, C:\Games does not exist, or at least I can't find it on this computer. There's a "Games" folder in my Start menu, but it won't give me its location so I don't know where exactly I would go to get Oblivion to install there. It's certainly not located in C:\.

Just enter that path in the install path. The installer will create the folder. That's the point. It's "custom", not a standard Windows folder.

And the prize of "Feeling Most Like an Idiot" goes to...

Right, lemme try that again. :P

No worries. Many non-techies don't know about how superficial folders are. For example, if you create a file "Games\Oblivion.txt" on the C Drive, that creates a folder C:\Games with a file "Oblivion.txt" in it. See how not important that is for most? Anyway, installing mods should be smoother sailing after you make that that change.
