Dohkaviin
Yeah, well, that would be too linear, would it? Anyway, it does not mean Dwemer are the start of everything, anyway. They just looped from the time they were cursed with timeloop. Also, you do understand that Anu and Padomay are not sentient beings, but a result of creation, right? Dohkaviin
Bethesda has a reputation for being contradictory, but that's what makes it awesome. It feels like history is really lost. I mean, a thousand years from the 201st year of the fourth era and nobody would probably remember the dragonborn, and all his deeds. Well, not correctly, at least. Dudeman325
It's my understanding that Creation, the twelve worlds that would become Nirn, are the product of Nir and Anu. Anu and Padhome are the result of the Godhead / Dreamer (Edit: Godhead may be the more-correct term here, I've also seen the word Dreamer refer to other deities). Sure, they aren't "beings," but as concepts of the binary elements of everything below them they are already far more than that. Dohkaviin
I think the 12 are just cosmic energies from the different constellations. Including Magnus, that is. I think they're the Star Orphans. A bunch of Aedra that are followers of Magnus. I read another book which told that when Nirn was new, the world was full of magicka. I think that is the remnant of magnus and the star orphans after they created Nirn which is called Nir and Anu, by you. Magicka, is magnus, if you follow the College of Winterhold quest. Anyway, about the godhead... What is that? Can you give me a link or so? I think I forgot it.
Dohkaviin
Ah yes, this Godhead is either Bethesda, or me. A very clever thing, they did. Edit: To others: If you're confused about this Godhead, it is the explanation for the Creation Kit and Console Commands. Dudeman325
I think they're the Star Orphans. A bunch of Aedra that are followers of Magnus. You're thinking of the Magna-Ge, who lived alongside the et'Ada in Nir. The 12 worlds of Nir can't be energy from constellations, because the constellations didn't exist until Magnus and the Magna-Ge fled the creation of Nirn to Aetherius, tearing the holes that make up the sun and stars. deathbymanga
Dohkaviin, sorry, i'm not really buying your idea at all. It seems a bit too convoluted.
Dohkaviin
They just use terminology that is comprehensible to the mortals. If you were a mosquito and tried to pass through a set of turning wheels with spikes and it almost hit you, you'd probably think that the wheels are trying to kill you and would probably think it is alive. You'd probably call it some glorious name or whatever. If you believe Mankar Camoran, his views are pretty mind boggling.
Dohkaviin
I read this certain book about how malleable the world was in its early days. Where aedra and daedra walked on the mortal fold.
Dohkaviin
Those are probably the aedra shaping the land and leaving traces of energy that will be magicka. The twelve once walked on nirn and reshaped the early land. So, they should be included as participants in creation. Anyway, what do you think then, are the twelve?
