Not exactly "Golden Oldies", since it will include some that have received recent updates.

Exactly, it's a top all time list and quite a few of those mods are still updated (a quick scroll through the first twenty shows they've all been updated recently) which doesn't fit the "old, stable and no longer updated" criteria at all :whistling:

Just to make it into the "Top-100 All-Time" (not the "Hot Files", or "Most Endorsed in the last two weeks") a mod has to have been around for a good long while.

 

By definition the mods on that list meet the "oldie" and the "goldie" critieria. Just not necessarily the "no longer maintained" aspect that some seemed to be angling for.

 

If there were 100 mods on each, I think one would find 60%-80% overlap between any "Oldie Goldie and Static" list, and the "Top-100 All-Time". Plus, the criteria for the latter allows it to be populated automatically, and it is already available to all Nexus members. The former would have to be curated manually. And we all know what arguments would ensue from trying to do that! :rolleyes:
