Sebiale
I have two GDa files that are similar enough in name to give me pause. They are Cooldown Revisions and another one that allows for drawn weapons while spellcasting. They're files are called ABI_base.GDA, and the other is called abi_base_CR_rekicker.GDA The readme for CD revisions states: "Ensure that you have no conflicting "abi_base...GDA" files (particularly files that modify cooldowns either intentionally or unintentionally) or this mod may not function as intended." I'm fairly sure that the drawn casting doesn't affect CDs, but how do I tell if these GDAs conflict? Or do the similar names mean they automatically conflict regardless of what they do? VGfallout
hi friend, an instant user-friendly effortless way to get the most basic idea of what they contain is to use a tiny light weight application that reads gda files named gdapp which is what a friend of mine linked me to back when i first started poking around dragon age you can download it from here! open you fire it up - open up the gda in question & check the "row headers" until you see "cooldown" - cha-ching! also, i can't confirm this with 100% certainty, but in my experience if making an edit with that utility, using File>Save seems to ..i dont know..neutralize the gda and changes may not be feltjust to be safe....i Always do File>Save AS> then replace the file in question (i could be crazy but you never know) hope it helps & good luck ;]
