At my wits end.....

Ok guys I'm seriously at my wit's end about using mods... I have been trying for the past 3 days to get a few mods to work in order to make the game more interesting for my wife and I. I do not have any of the DLC's except for the Texture DLC. I also have SKSE installed, and loot installed and FNIS installed all properly. but my game continues to CTD at startup. Here is the list of mods I'm trying to use.

These are all the mods I have active at this time... I have several more that I deactivated and got the game to work for a little whlle and then CTD'd probably due to memory issues... I had

 

W.A.T.E.R - Water And Terrain Enhancement Redux

 

Activated, but I had come to the conclusion that this was one of the causes of my memory getting filled quickly and my lag issue, so I removed it... When I did... I restarted Skyrim using the SKSE launcher and lo and behold CTD!!!... I have been working on this for quite some time. I had gotten the game last year and started modded it (with different mods ofcourse) but it kept CTD'ing on me then as well so I decided to shelve it for a while until my wife wanted to play it, but she got bored of Vanilla pretty quickly and she and I went through and picked out most of these mods that we want to use. I have several other mods that aren't activated in NMM and I would like to use them as well if i could. They are...

I would really appreciate any help that I could get... We really LOVE all the modding community's work,

 

Oh yeah!!! I almost forgot. I have LOOT installed as well and that has been a great help with load order, but I do not have TES5Edit.... Should I get that as well?

Do you CTD before you get to the main menu, or upon trying to load a savegame? If the former, you may have a load order conflict. Have you run BOSS?

Download TES5Edit. , install, When you run it for the first time just click OK , let it run with what was PRE-selected.

it finishes and Says "background loader finished" then you did not have a missing master.

IF

it Stops and gives an error, it will display (on the right pane) what it is having a fit about. IF you cant figure out what it wants, post the last 20 lines here and someone will help.

 

Anything that TES5Edit gives an error on WILL also crash the game, So till xxedit is happy the game wont load. :smile:

Wrye Bash is great for this also (and the bashed patch) IF you load up Wrye Bash, any mods that have Missing masters will be colored RED. Great visual indicator as nearly all other mods should be Green.

EDIT: Make sure to read the LOOT log carefully as it may have reported things already, you can also Post it here (in spoiler tags) and we can have a look. Since LOOT is not copy /paste friendly i will give a hint....Highlight entire >>right pane, press [CTRL + C ] then in a spoiler here...press [CTRL + V ] .
