eLucifer
You put textures and meshes folders in your directory. You got Archieve Invalidated. You're ready to enjoy some awesome mods! OR, are you? There are some, perhaps, devious mods that still have broken textures after all your effort: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7505 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2943(correct meshes to make it work: http://www.4shared.com/file/fklIxY_G/jacksIrifle.html ) http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10685 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12868 PS: During the discussion about the Ion Rifle(Pulse Rifle from HL2), some said something about the meshes were misplaced by the author himself. He then sent me a file which contains the right meshes and I replaced them(I know this sounds irrevelant to the sentence before this one, but this is what happened).Might this be the answer, and hopefully the solution to these mods? PS 2: This topic was posted twice before. Once without the last two mods, and early today expressing my, um, annoyance about the whole situation(which got me banned, but the situation is resolved now, thanks to the dear, reconsidering moderator). Quetzlsacatanango
Post in the mod thread, first of all. Most times the author will fix it. If they can't or won't, or you don't want to wait for them to do it, open up your archive you downloaded. Note the paths for the textures.Open your nif in nifskope. Click on the part of the model that is having the problem.Expand the NiTriStrips/NiTriShapeExpand BSShaderPPLightingPropertyHighlight BSShaderTextureSetIn Block Details, expand TexturesNext to the purple flower you will see the path to your textures. Are they the same as what's contained in the archive? If not, then that's your problem. Do they have a hardcoded path (start with a drive letter instead of /textures)? If so, then that's your problem. Is it blank? Then that's your problem. These things are why sending you updated meshes fixes your texture problems sometimes. Quetzlsacatanango
I don't know which part you don't understand so I guess I can't. nif? These are your mesh filesNifskope? A program to open and manipulate the properties of nif files. Google could have told you that.Once you get that far the instructions should become apparent.
