Reminder: Non-Premium, Non-Supporter members are capped at 1024KB/s (1MB/s) regardless of ISP capability.

If you're in that category, and achieving approximately that speed, (or better) there's no issue on either end.

 

The CDN can provide higher-speed service, and frequently does. But that's not claimed, much less guaranteed. :cool:

I'm aware of that and i normally get anywhere from 1-10mb download speeds, but in the past few days it has plummeted to anywhere from 50-200kb/s speeds. At first i thought it might be Mod Organizer, but then i tried downloading manually and while it (seemed) to have been a bit faster, there wasn't a moderate change. Very odd, as i have never had an issue before downloading mods from this site. Anyways, thanks for the feedback and i hope it isn't an overlook on my part. Moreover, i hope you guys can find a solution :D

 

same problem here. CDN (Free) server is the only one i get, and it says it is capped to 665 kbps. however, im getting 25 kbps approx, mostly it just stops downloading after a while with 0 kbps. never had this problem before, started happening last night. changed nothing in my settings, it happened while downloading mods for skyrim. it is impossible to download even small mods. i tried via mod organizer and manual download via website, same thing happens.

While the test says 11.5 MB/s when I download from the site or using MO the max I get is much less than 100 Kb/s.

I've just removed almost a dozen posts that either didn't include the Speedtest report, or simply talked about the issue. There are other places for those conversations. Now I just hope this thread does not have the purpose to celebrate non existent download rates from the Kent Premium Server or Framework, because downloads from there abort in 50% of all cases and have a download speed of less than 10 kbit/s for me.

 

 

PS: I tested downloads from all Premium Servers. While Kent and Framework are as annoying slow and unstable as explained above, Dallas and Washington are as fast as they should be.

Any more people out there experiencing terrible slow download speeds from Premium Servers ?

 

Diagnose Tool + Speed Test tell me nothing unusual, but around 50% of my downloads from Kent and Framwork abort or have a speed of sometimes less than 10 kbit/s.
