The Legend of Zelda:Tamriel

Hey guys!

 

This is my first post here and I had an idea for a mod. It's called "The Legend of Zelda:Tamriel".

It's named Tamriel and not Cyrodiil because I was hoping of getting Elsweyr and Morrowind in here too.

 

OUTLINE-

You are being transported from the land of Hyrule to a city called the Imperial City in the Cyrodiil Province of Tamriel.

They put you in prison and all of a sudden a wall opens in your cell. A man tells you to follow him. You do so

and escape to the sewers of the city. You leave to the outside world and the man reveals himself. He is really a woman named Zelda. She tells you of a horrible man named Gannon who has started opening gates to Oblivion all across Tamriel. The main objective of this mod is to close all of the Oblivion gates,get the Master Sword,and ultimately defeat Gannon.

 

NOTE:This is also the plot to my fan fiction I will be writing of the same name.

 

ARMORS-

Your basic Zelda tunics. Some are enchanted. Could ask for permission to use Heroes of Time Mod for these.

Also the Hylian Shield.

 

WEAPONS-

All original Oblivion weapons plus the Master Sword.

 

QUESTS-

Going through many Oblivion gates and also some caves. Close the Oblivion Gates and rid the caves of monsters. Some side quests too.

 

CHARACTERS-

Link (or what ever you name him/her)-Your character.

 

Zelda/Sheik-The queen whose land is in trouble due to Gannon.

 

Gannon-The king of evil. He is the one opening the gates to Oblivion.

 

TOWNS-

The ones found in the main games plus the towns of Elsweyr.

 

THE STORY-

The Legend of Zelda:Tamriel

 

CHAPTER 1:Introduction

 

It was a dark,stormy night. If you were there,you would never forget it. The clouds kept rolling in...then the sky turned red...then a giant portal opened right in front of Kvatch. The whole city,burned down in a flash. Only a few survived that terrible night. You might as well had been in a tornado than Kvatch that night. You would at least of had a chance.

 

Now that same day,a boat full of prisoners was coming from the land of Hyrule. It arrived the day after the Kvatch incident. It's kinda funny that the boat from Hyrule was coming back to its old Princess. Zelda had married Martin Septim and then Martin died. Leaving Zelda to have to be queen of Tamriel. Anyway,we are going to be following one of the prisoners off the boat...his name is Link. He had been framed. So when he was locked up,the next day,a man pushed open a secret passage that led through his cell.

 

"Hey...follow me."The man said.

 

Link obeyed. They traveled through the sewers of the Imperial City. They had finally reached an exit when the man revealed himself. The man was actually a girl...the queen to be exact.

 

"ZELDA!"Link yelled out.

 

"Sh...you will attract attention. Listen,two days ago a gate to Oblivion opened outside of one of the towns here. You will have to help me. We need to shut the gates. More have spawned since the first one did. Please..."She said.

 

"Fine...any idea who did this?"Link asked.

 

"Yes...the evil man who has been trying to destroy me and my ancestors...Gannon..."

 

So Link decided to go and try to soak up as much of this as he could. He stopped by the Divine Elegance for some clothes,went to the stable to get a horse,and went to the only town he had been to in this continent...Riverhold...

 

When he arrived he noticed a giant glowing portal was sitting in front of the town...He ran into the town to see everyone was at the top of the hillside. He went around and met up with the rest of the town.

 

"What's going on here?"He asked.

 

"That Oblivion gate is what happened. Everyone ran in fear. Some died. We are all that's left. If we don't do something quick we are going to die too!"

 

"Give me a sword and a shield. I may also need a partner. I will close this gate."

So.. You just want to rename Martin Septim to Zelda, make him a teenage girl, then make the Amulet of Kings into the Master Sword and change Dagon to Ganon?

 

Why do you want to put Morrowind and Elswyr in there?

That's not all...I want it to be a full fledged conversion. There is PLENTY of other things that are going to happen. Amulet not the Master Sword. The Septims are not even going to be there. Elsweyr and Morrowind are for fun and more exploration. This isn't supposed to be Oblivion with Zelda characters,it is supposed to be like a Zelda game. The entire main quest is not the same. I should probably say this also takes place after Twilight Princess.

First, a question... are you a modder? If you aren't, please understand something like this would take months, if not longer. And you are not likely to get any help if you aren't going to contribute to the project yourself.

That said, a total conversation isn't smart. It can cause loads of conflicts and uncompability. It is smarter to make a sidequest out of this, that would also shock less people (I mean.... come on, Septim being a teenage girl? ) , like, once you install the mod, the next time you play you are approached by the girl thingy and she gives you some Zelda stuff and asks you to save the world.

It was just an idea. I wasn't really trying to mod this. Why does everyone think that Septim is a girl? HE IS NOT! The story is that Zelda left Hyrule to marry Martin. Martin dies so Zelda is now queen of Tamriel. She isn't even a teenager! Geez. I also know that this would take for ever,it was just an idea. If someone really makes this then whatever. I am not asking anyone to make this.
