it's been a while since i made anything for oblivion, but i just recently got back into it again. before i make what i'd like to, i want to know if i can go ahead and use modo to make the meshes. if i can use it, then what type of file format do i save them in or do i need another app to convert the file or something? i used to use blender before and it was easy to know what to do with all the tutorials, but i've gotten accustomed to modo and don't wanna download blender if i don't have to. thanks for the any help, and sorry for the noob question...it's been a while

There's no reason to not to use any 3d modelling program, but you have to export yout mesh as .nif to use it in-game. I'm afraid there's no NIF exporter for Luxology Modo. You will need to export your model as other format like .obj, then use 3DS Max or Blender to export it as .nif.

thanks for the help, i went ahead and got blender and saving the file as an obj won't be a big deal. It's just good to hear that the meshes that i've already created in modo can be used for oblivion purposes now.

as great as some of the armor mods are, there really aren't any outfits that i'd like to use for my character. i've been working on making caim's outfit from both drakengard games, the weapons is pretty much complete minus a part of the handle. maybe i'll post some pics or make the mod public when i finish. thanks again
