Something you probably didn't know about Nath Dyer easter egg - hi

I may be the first one to find this missing piece of an already known Easter Egg.

 

Some of you may know there is an easter egg corpse of Nathan Dyer in the lake near Fort Nikel.

 

So I've encountered it and it had a love letter and some primorose on it. It was already rotten(zombie model used ^^)

 

Then I've googled to make sure it's not part of some quest I am not on - then i found out it's an easter egg. Yay.

 

Then I took the letter, hanged around the corpse for a couple of moments then puff - ghost approaches me from the lake, he said "Be gone mortal"

 

I entered a conversation and well, here are a few screenshots i took;

And then he swims back to the lake...

 

I googled afterwards, UESP wiki and everything, seems like no one has encountered his ghost before :D :cool:

 

Notice how he has horns and is a ghost of a dead dremora :D

 

I would add the info or contact the admins from UESP wiki but I don't know how, don't see anything pointing you to that.

 

Anyway - post your thoughts, and feel free to disappoint me if you were quicker than I ;D

To be honest it looks like some addition that a mod has made.

 

The phrase 'begone mortal' is said by the game's Dremora at times, and the name of the ghost doesn't match the name of the body. It looks like someone applied the ghost shader to a Dremora and set it up to appear if you hang around.

 

I wouldn't go adding this as an easter egg just yet.

Yeah, that's definitely a mod. There's no Nathan McDyer's Ghost NPC listed in the CS.

Yup this is a mod. I also checked the CS kit actor/creature list and didn't find anything. You should know if you mod the game and play it off as a secret that someone else who knows the game is going to call you on it lol.. though a quest for this easter egg would be sweet/
