demonbuddy
I am looking for the Moranda ruin, as it contains one of the statues needed for "The Collector". However, the Hint Book shows the wrong location for the ruin - it's actually a cave at the location :( . I do not see the ruin nearby this cave location either. Can someone tell me where the ruin is? Reference it to a nearby map point please (hopefully near enough that I can see the ruin on my compass). Thanks!Demonbuddy
demonbuddy
I actually found it. It's northwest of the place that the hint book says. Sorta southeast of Sancre Tor. But now I have another problem in "The Collector" quest, one that is more frustrating. In the Sardavar Leed ruin is supposed to be a one of the statues. It is plain not there. I even got frustrated, went into TESCK and looked at the appropriate interiors. No Aeylid Statue was on any level. So, I can never get the final statue. Or is this yet another misprint in the Hint Book and it's in a different ruin? I don't know how to search for it with the Construction kit and each statue has an unique name... Anyone finish this quest?? Thanks,Demonbuddy
Ottomus
I have a little problem with this quest. Where do you get the Hint Book? :(
Switch
When he says Hint Book I think he means the Oblivion Official Game Guide (a book that you can buy that tells you how to do all the quests and things in the game). It sounds like a misprint to me demonbuddy - if you really want to know where all the Ayleid statues are, you can find the object in the CS (under Items > MiscItem > MS21AyleidStatue) and right click it, then select Use Info. That will show all the cells that have an Ayleid statue. In fact, while I have the window open I may as well post the list here: WenyandawikWendelbekCulotteNinendavaWelkeMorandaFanacasMackamentainVilverinWendir And that's all 10. You were right, there isn't one in Sardavar. Hope this helps. ^^

Yeah, actually counting the ruins listed in the Prima guide gives 11 locations. Eliminate that Sardavar Leed ruin and it still leaves ten statues. I panicked cuz I didn't follow through on the math. o_O Thanks for the assist. By the way, Wendelbek is an awesome dungeon. I'll be sure to revisit it after it respawns. Great loot, fun enemies, and good places to pick them off from. I got in a fireball war with two Necromancers in a sunken pit. Too bad that I pressed the button to form the stairs out of the pit; now I won't get in another fireball fight because next time they can get out of the pit. :( Demonbuddy
