(Note: I made a similar post in the HGEC BBB thread here but this thread seems to be more active, is still related, and plenty of people here have the skills to possibly help me out)

First, wanted to say thanks for the excellent work. I only recently found HGEC BBB and the skeleton to use but it's been a very nice find indeed, especially with all the clothing conversions going on here. :)

There is just one thing that's bothering me and perhaps someone here can help or it can be addressed. Everything works as it should when installed (my animations for BBB work, etc) but the HGEC BBB body meshes seem to add a noticeable gap at the neck seam that is absent if I use the stock HGEC body meshes ( http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 ).

For comparison, I took two screen shots. Everything in them is the exact same (textures, skeletons, etc) except for the body meshes that are used. I'm using the D-cup version, but I checked E-cup as well and the gap was still there.

HGEC 1.21: http://yfrog.com/n7hgecbodyj

HGEC BBB: http://yfrog.com/n6hgecbbbbodyj

It's not as blatant when not zoomed in, but it is definitely noticeable at normal distance. I merely took the shots at that distance to more easily demonstrate the issue.

This is the only issue keeping me from giving complete praise and I love the "bouncing" effects, so if someone could help me resolve it I'd be very appreciative.

On the original topic of this thread, I don't have any requests right now (though an EVE HGEC stock BBB conversion would be fantastic, but I've seen it mentioned before and is a big project) since I'm still going through all the stuff that's already been converted. XD

Thanks!

EDIT: By the way, the textures used are F-INevOblivion's, but I've tried Ozmo's high res as well and the gap problem is still there.

I use the Normal D-cup, M bottom version in the file "HGEC Body Partz" found here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28235

I can provide a lost of all my other mods if you suspect one of them is interfering, but since the issue isn't there in the normal HGEC I suspect not.

PS: Thanks for the super fast response!

EDIT: The only other mod I'm using that modifies body meshes at all (that I know of) is Robert's MaleBodyReplacerV4, and I tested disabling it to see if for some reason there were conflict. Didn't seem to change anything.

I use some facial mods as well.. will go back and check them next.

Mmmmh it's really strange to see a seam in the Coronerra's mod, he is a pro for removing the seams ^^. Wait 5 minutes I check that in my game.

The answer is simple : because.

@jchar42 : ok I think i found the "problem". In fact Coronerra noticed that the classic HGEC upper body is slightly separated from the head. It's true, if you look really close you can see a glittering line on the neck. He removed that moving some vertices to snap them on the head. The problem is that they are NOT merged, they are just snaped, and I you can see a difference because the "normals" of the vertices ( it's a vector which define something I can't explain in english, sorry ) are not exactly in the same direction, so the light touch the vertices of the head seam and the neck seam differently. It results in a slight difference in the way the polygons are lit, and so you can see this seam.

The perfect solution in this case would be to have a full body with all the parts merged, head included. But it's impossible in Oblivion. Another solution could be to wear a necklace which hide the seam...
