Deleted3507349User
I also use a program called Process Lasso to limit Oblivion to a single core and increase it's priority a notch. Limiting Oblivion to a single core is a well-known and tested method to help prevent random crashes. Unfortunately, even vanilla Oblivion can be crashy sometimes...it gets a bit more so on modern OS's. Lots of good information HERE.
olha2
You are going to have crashes, period. It's a balance between vanilla Oblivion that hardly ever crashes, and filling the world with so many bad guys that you can hardly take a step without crashing. Anything that adds encounters and/or NPC's or extra creatures in the wilderness makes the game that much less stable.Yeah, guess thats what you get with a engine and memory problems like these. Well thanks a ton, imma play oblivion now
