35NEXT99 Posted May 26 Posted May 26 (edited) I need help: I installed all mods correctly and it still crashed. Related to FOSE. Message was: You have an unknown version of Fallout. Please check http://fose.silverlock.org to make sure you're using the latest version of FOSE, then send an email to the contact addresses listed in fose_readme.txt if this version is not supported in the latest release. (CRC = 6E3D50D1) How I fix this? I did that Fallout Anniversary Patcher Downgrader. Did not work. Edited May 26 by 35NEXT99
35NEXT99 Posted May 26 Posted May 26 MAJOR Update: I got it working. I need to place those FOSE .dll files to main directory not that data/fose/plugins place. DLLs were: CommandExtender.dll ButcherPete.dll I am glad this mess is over. Now I can start installing more mods and maybe making own.
35NEXT99 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Ok. Another annoying crash. When I get to quest Escape start I don't see any dialog boxes or nothing it just crashed there. How to diagnose which mod is conflicting there?
M48A5 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Do not have any mods active, unless you have mods that need to be active in the vault, until you exit the vault into the wasteland. When in the tunnel between the vault door and the exit door, make a hard save. Exit the door and make another hard save. Now, enable all your mods, make a hard save. Enjoy!
