Nuracus
Greetings! I recently started playing Oblivion. Played Morrowind a lot, although I never finished it. Hehe, doesn't mean I haven't played it uncounted numbers :) Now, after about 20 hours, I'm still at Imperial City and there is still sooo much to see.I need a house now, for some storage room! Two options: 1. Buy the official house in the Waterfront District (2.000 + 400 for storage upgrade)2. Use a mod :) Right now I'm browsing the files in the Nexus, but until now I haven't found anything convenient.I'd like the house to be like this: - NOT free (but well, not too expensive, I have around 6.000 coins right now); I'd like to buy it or earn it in a quest- no special items in it (especially no uber-items ... I don't want to be rich after purchasing the house)- should be in or near Imperial City- nothing weird (no cave, portal or anything like this) I might try this one, but it is free, right? Hope you can help me!
Amoramor
Hey, what if I made you one! Just say where to place it. Except that I'm not going to get to play Oblivon/use the CS, for about a week, so if anyone else won't do it, (I'm sure someone will), you'll have to wait. Otherwise, I'd be glad to help you out! Nuracus
Hehe, thanks for that :)but I didn't want anyone to make an extra house for me. I just couldn't imagine there are no IC houses matching my wishes. Btw, I bet within a week (and possibly another 20-30 playing hours) I won't need it any more, or ...or maybe I'm still in Imperial City :D Edit: another idea ...I killed Agarmir, the graverobber. His house is empty now.Is it possible to modify Vinicia Melissaeia, so that she sells two different houses? The waterfront shack AND Agarmir's house? Of course, his should be more expensive then. Amoramor
Oh, ok, didn't read you post completely, sorry. :) About your idea... I think it would be possible. Someone with the skills should modify the quest so that after Agarmir dies, his house would be for sale, otherwise it would mess up the quest and you wouldn't be able to finish it in you other saves. I don't know how to do that, though. Sorry. :/
Nuracus
Okay then, thanks anyways.Guess I'll just have to keep browsing ... or buy the Waterfront house :) Edit: Damn ... this one looks awesome, really, but again ... it is totally free and questless :/ it's just there and you don't have to "earn" it. Edit 2: Great! Trader's Apartment, looks exactly like what I was looking for ...
Ranokoa
Try my mods. I wish I had enough time to look it up and link it to you, but I'm getting kicked off because it's REALLY.. well.. technically early. But late, ya lol. Just search my name, Ranokoa, in TesNexus. Eventually you'll come across the mod with the Imperial City House. It is free, unfortunately, but it has many different themes to choose from. If you want to justify it's freeness just type in the console ~Player.RemoveItem 0000000f 5000 It'll remove 5k gold from you. Consider it payment to the Nine through cheat codes. Lol. Nothing overpowering, nothing "rich". Upper / middle class decor and that's it. Lots of storage space. Themed for either mages, fighters, or common generic citizens. I was going to make an assassins version but everytime I remember I have a heavy list of other mods with higher priority than an old abandoned one. Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.~Ranokoa (I type really fast, but my internet loads slow. This is why this post would take quite a few minutes less to type and press post then leave the room than to look up the mod.)
