Speed Damaged?

what version of MMM are you using.

 

Version 3.0 will cause this problem

 

most people use the stat restore mod http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=11368 (when they don't already use the UOP)

 

Huh, I thought I did have the UOP, anyways when I get the UOP how do I use the stat fixer or does it happen passively?

Also, What is the latest version of MMM? Because I cannot find anything newer then 3.0

Sorry for reviving this topic but I'm having the same issue and I believe I've traced it back to Duke Patrick's Combat Archery, which is one of the few mods which slows down your backwards moving speed. It seems to do that by temporarily damaging your speed while moving backwards and restoring it when you stop. but sometimes this gets "stuck" and until now the only solution I've found is to visit the altar. I haven't noticed this issue when I'm using only Duke Patrick's mod so this seems to be because of some conflict with another mod. I traced a big conflict with MOBS Optional Combat rules (which also affect archery and backwards moving speed) which made the issue crop up with very high frequency (along with breaking the tripping function of DPA) and thus I disabled the MOBS one. However I've noticed that even so, my speed will occassional be damaged, but far less than before. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out where the conflict exists or if DPA is just a bit buggy there.

 

I'm going to try the stats restorer http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11368 but I saw someone mention that the UOP has a built-in stats restore function. Can someone explain how I use that one before I try to stats-restore mod out?

Look in your inventory, under 'Misc' and you will see the Unofficial Oblivion Patch. Click on it and close your journal. If you don't see it, open the console and type:

 

startquest uop
