Trumpdog
the robe model that im working on importing uses texture transparency to give the model the desired ingame shape.Ive messed with textures that have transparency before with success but this particular model and texture are not working correctly. The places that are suppose to be transparent are turned black ingame but appear as it should as a textured model in blender. I've deleted that background and saved the tex as png and converted it to dds like i do with the other textures ive messd withand nothing seems to be working. any idea what the problem is? Trumpdog
do u have another 3d program, maybe it just blender not exporting properly blender shouldnt be the problem, the model replaces another stock robe.Replacing the model inherits all of the target model's materials,tex..ect.Atleast thats how i understand it, i could be wrong. Does the robe you are replacing use transparent textures? Transparent textures only work when the default material semantic is set correctly in the MAO (I don't remember the exact setting, just look at the MAO for Morrigan's robe for the right value).
