ObLars
Hey, i recently started modding Oblivion. And something that has always bothered me was the Arrow Flight speed. I find it a little slow, so id like to double it, for ALL arrows, not just one or two. Could you help me? Please. New Question! Okei, it worked out great. Now, i wonder how i can edit my own esp, and not just the bashed patch. Working on a "better" marksman skill for me and a friend. Would love some help.
ThomasKaira
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368 Wrye Bash, the bashed patch allows you to make plenty of GMST edits, including arrow flight speeds.
ObLars
"The Site MySQL database is currently down. This problem normally sorts itself very quickly. Please come back a little later." I guess i'll have to wait and see. But thanks for the information. Also, is it alot of work to do so?Thanks for your reply.
ThomasKaira
Yeah, The Nexus has been having trouble with downloads today. Give Dark0ne some time, he usually gets issues sorted fairly quickly. As for workload, Bash is slightly complex to install, but it is so incredibly useful I would say it is a necessity for Oblivion modding nowadays, and the bashed patch is quick and easy to manage. What you are looking for is this: Right click Bashed Patch, 0.ESPSelect Rebuild PatchSelect Tweak SettingsSelect Arrow: SpeedRight click that setting and select X2.0Click Build Patch Bash will do the rest. That was VERY useful. This will make my marksman so much more realistic. Kudos for you!
ObLars
One more thing though. Which Version is /best/ to download? Wrye Bash 275 - Self Installer? Wrye Bash 287 - Archive Version?
ThomasKaira
Get 287 Archive version, and put the contents into your Oblivion (not data) directory.
