The Gray Fox

I am guildmaster of thieves guild (yay!) and there are some bugs w/ Nocturnal's Cowl. Have 360 version, but friend of mine has same problem on computer. I have about 3300 gold and I can't bribe guards to pay off my bounty (default bounty of 500, or any other bounties I might have gotten as the Grey Fox. I CAN pay off bounties from my regular character). I can't get Armand Christophe or Skrivva to pay it off for half-price. I also can't walk away from guards... so I HAVE to resist arrest.

This is really annoying, so could anyone help me?

I do believe this is what you are stuck with. I have the same thing, but I use the grey Fox hhod when I want to do something like stealing, but I do take it off as soon as I am out of the room. There was a mod for a chest in the guildmaster room that would drop your bounty when clicked, but that stopped working with the new patch for me. Don't let it bother you, just enjoy the game and look at it as a tool to use with a little planning on your part. it took me a little while to get used to it as well.

Yeah... I'm dealin' with it... but still would be easier. I am fine, though.

I always used Nocturnal's Cowl whenever I was looting caves and such. I could carry more and see people before they saw me. However I forgot a few times to take it off when I walked into a city. That got annoying. Anyways, as far as I know, Alwes is right. There is nothing you can do about it.
