Somnolentone
I am getting very frequent crashes to desktop - so many in fact that I'm pretty much spending more time booting the game up and loading my save than I am actually playing. I don't really know what could be causing this issue. Many of the crashes occur upon loading new interiors. Be it a cave, an inn, whatever. It crashes once or twice, then lets me in. Sometimes with texture/FX issues, sometimes with no issues whatsoever. Sometimes it lets me into the interior area with FPS hovering around 3 with my disk going crazy, THEN it crashes on me. My other crashes are also seemingly random. I've crashed in combat. I've crashed just running around and exploring (which boggles my mind because I will load up the game and run around at 500% speed with noclip enabled with no issues). The only crashes I can find a pattern in are the crashes when loading interiors. I've meticulously ordered my mods' install order in Mod Organizer to try to avoid conflict and use LOOT every time I add/remove a mod. I run FNIS every time Mod Organizer suggests it. I run my SkyProc patchers to the point of compulsion. I make a new Bashed patch every time I add/remove a mod. I've studied the Skyrim Project Stability page more than my textbooks and I just can't figure out where this issue is coming from. After all of these crashes I check my Memory Blocks log and the memory never reaches above 512mb (I have SSME installed as I cannot get the SKSE commands to enable Sheson's patch to work). Here is my plugin list, my load order, and my Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. Please help.
VerbalEarthworm
At 245 plugins, you are almost at the 255 cap. This is probably as far as you can go, hence the very random CTDs. Think about merging many mods together, reducing your plugin number by at least 50, but try for 100.
Kriiks
In my experience just running a lot esp's (close to cap) doesn't mean automatically unstable and crashing game. Maybe I'm bit lazy, but I usually start merging plugins if I run into cap. So normally there are ca 250-255 esp's/esm's in my loadlist. Works fine and crashes are very rare.Of course there can be just some mods who doesn't like to play together well. Don't have experiences with all of them. You mentioned Skyrim project stability, but still: beside of SKSE memory patch... do you use enbboost too? Have you tried to clean your saves from leftover scripts with save cleaner tool? Cleaned your esm/esp's?Are you person who's constantly installing new mods to try them out and then uninstalling? I do not mean just textures, but more complex mods. Might be again reason to mess up your saves and cause more problems.
Somnolentone
I had been wanting to merge mods with this script but unfortunately I'm in nursing school at the moment and time is at a premium. I'll be working on that in the future. I don't use ENBoost. I should probably get on that! Every time I change mods I start a new save, unless it's just textures. If I uninstall anything that could have been running scripts or cause any forseeable issues I make a new save. Admittedly I am never satisfied with the mods I have and am always finding mods I want. However, in preparation for the release of Perkus Maximus I'm putting my foot down and trying to get the mods I am currently using stable.
Kriiks
Yes, I can understand curiosity and wish to test out different mods and see what's fitting most for your gameplay :D Making new saves in case if something goes horribly wrong is always wise, but using save cleaner (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?) on save what's made after uninstalling mod can actually help keeping your game playable for longer period. Same for cleaning esp's and esm's. Good tutorial for that is linked on TES5edit Nexus page. And after testing different mods a while you most likely can find your "must be" mods. Sometimes is just good to look your modlist critically and think: "do I really use/enjoy that mod features or I just "forgot" it into my loadlist? Do I even notice if its gone?" Helps a bit keeping your loadlist under control ;)
