  1. And after downloading half of Nexus don't forget to backup your original vanilla Skyrim folder somewhere. If you're using NMM as a mod manager, then you might need it. Or a saved guide how to make Skyrim vanilla again.
  2. Nope... you don't need it for one follower. Bigger overhauls can maybe consolidate some of those features, but not all of them. Specially if you want to use Vilja and vanilla follower together, it's possible without any follower overhauls installed. All customs (Vilja, Inigo, Arissa, Sofia) have their own horses too. Only if you want to use two vanilla followers, you might need something whats expanding allowed companion amount. And even if it's more personal preference, having too many with you at same time gets tiring :) For vanilla npc's http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4020/? is quite good too.
  3. If you're used with AFT, you could try iAFT (Immersive AFT), but only if you start a new game. It's basically AFT with few tweaks and fixes. All vanilla follower system npc's are taken over by your follower mod usually, so if you dismiss them and then rerecruit them later, they all should have their armor and items what you gave them earlier. iAFT should handle all vanilla or vanilla follower system npc's fine and My Home is You Home mod can recognize them all too. AFT/iAFT both should have rudimentary wardrobe manager built in too. You certainly shouldn't try to use any kind follower mod on Vilja or Inigo type companions. They have their custom follower system, what works well and allows recruiting vanilla type follower even if you don't have any multifollower mod installed. Same with My Home is Your Home, I know that this dialogue appears on Vilja, but using it can break her brain. She has its own dialogue for home.
  4. MO checks that scripted files on left panel are loading in same order as esp's in right panel. But if it doesn't like your left panel priority order, it warns you and offers auto correct option, what in most cases works fine. Your loadorder looks (except some exceptions) almost same as my modded Skyrim core. Even if I tried to simplify my setup for my newest playthrough, it still has a lot more mods and it's currently fairly stable - decides to have occasional crash maybe once per 5-7h. I can forgive that to my poor overloaded game.
  5. "At all", I suppose if you have just texture and mesh replacers without anything else. But crashes shouln't be too frequent (every hour or two). If you don't have skse.ini file with memory tweak, I'd recommend adding it too. Summerset isles caused me some weird issues, in same time I never had problems with such classical dlc type mods like Falskaar and Wyrmstooth. AoS2 been working fine without any problems, but Sounds of Skyrim likes to cause them (sometimes). Enboost should help too, not just crash your game. Maybe problems with enblocal.ini settings or try older version.
  6. Yes, if you already have SKSE installed, you just have to make skse.ini yourself. Just make sure that you actually rename extension to ini and it doesn't end up like skse.ini.txt or something. [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 EnableDiagnostics=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 That should be usual recommended lines for skse.ini
  7. It's a background process monitoring your game, not something what should give you in-game overlays or menus. And as it's running on its own window, you can see it real time on second monitor (if you have more than one) or just check it after playing a while.
  8. So if you use highest textures possible, I take you're using fair a bit 4k versions. Your PC could handle it, true. But do you help Skyrim out, so it can benefit your nice PC properly? So what kind memory usage Skyrim Performance Monitor is showing? Do you use enboost and skse memory patch? But again, if you have just certain things purple all the time, its just missing texture problem and might be somekind installed mesh and texture mods conflict.
  9. If you never used mods in Skyrim before, you might want to check out Gopher's modding tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxQ1JN_X-_Y&list=PLE7DlYarj-DdhDG41roBVJfNCqvO5MmKP Just instead of Nexus Mod Manager, I'd recommend Mod Organizer too, what he covered later in another tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4ZQpzf_iAE&index=1&list=PLE7DlYarj-DcLS9LyjEqOJwFUQIIQewcK
  10. Define "good PC". If some object in your game is constantly purple, then its missing texture. If objects are sometimes purple or black and after game restart they are back normal, it hints somekind memory related problems. Your mod list is fairly short, but how many texture mods are you using and what quality? What Skyrim Performance Monitor is showing? Do you have any kind artifacting/glitching in any other game?
  11. Hehe, I can understand that perfectly... if you spent a lot time tweaking everything to work perfectly, have long list and many custom patches, then you really don't want to bulldoze everything and redo whole thing. Your description feels a lot like my own Skyrim. MO made that work a lot easier to track for me. So if you ever plan new Skyrim playthrough so you're willing to do complete reinstall, MO should help you out.
  12. Good you got it to work, but also time to get Skyrim properly on Steam, people don't like pirated versions here and most likely reason why patch doesn't work for you. If you been enjoying game for years and specially as Legendary editon is been for sale zillion times its kinda shameful to be still pirate.
  13. I have feeling that I'm missing something very simple here, but just don't know what. As one solution to get your game memory blocks to behave, you could try memory tweak older version SSME http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/? Normally you really don't need it anymore as skse.ini tweak should do the trick, but if it refuses to cooperate with you, you can try older solution.
  14. If I had to chose between UFO and AFT, I could personally go for AFT, but maybe that's just me who didn't have very good experiences with UFO. But whichever you choose, two of them in same time is a bit too much ;) Doesn't look like something is very out of place too. If you did memory patch, you can check with Memory Blocks Log http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/? does your tweak actually work. Hopefully it reduces your crashing and makes your game more stable.
  15. I wasn't talking about merging mods, what's of course possible too in some cases, but about merged patch, what can be generated by tes5edit and works like additional conflict solver between different mod entries. Enbboost and SKSE.ini memory patch run fine together. Actually I have still ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true in my enblocal.ini and it's works fine with skse memory patch, but it can vary depends of your system. You just have to try it, what is best for you. With enbboost and skse memory tweak together it shouldn't lag your system, unless you keep adding more and more things during your playthrough and unless it's just texture or mesh mod, try not to remove mods middle of playthrough too. This can leave unwanted leftovers into your game saves and even if you can fix some of them with savegame cleaner, it's easier to avoid then try to fix later ;) Happy playing!
  16. Another option is Mod Organizer what keeps all mod files nicely in one folder and doesn't mix them with others or overwrite anything. Uninstalling mod is just unticking one box and all its files are gone and others aren't affected. Good for having different player profiles too. But choice is yours ;)
  17. Where is your SKSE.ini file located? Normally it should be under Data/SKSE folder, if using MO, then mods/skse v1.7.3/skse. Basically you should have two folders inside MO skse folder: Scripts and SKSE and SKSE.ini inside of skse folder. You can also try placing file directly into Data/SKSE folder. Does your script extender work properly? Just in case.. make sure that your SKSE.ini file actually has ini extension and it's not SKSE.ini.txt or something.
  18. If you use new enb binary, you have to set both thread options to 0 (if you don't want to play around with new settings). Older enb binaries doesn't have new experimental lines, so they can run better for you. ssme isnt really required anymore, because you can just add SKSE.ini tweak (http://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender ) as you're using script extender anyway. Gopher video was made before skse officially merged that fix.
  19. Bashed Patch for sure and tes5edit merged patch (without levelled lists) doesn't hurt too. Not so much info about that, but something is available here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/255l0u/merged_patch_guide/ + a bit tes5edit knowledge. I could try those mods with lighter setups, vram amount doesn't change anything here. Memory patch and enboost can help more.
  20. That list isn't too long yet ;) If you said you sorted your plugins with LOOT, then posting actual loadorder is more informative than just plain alphabetically sorted modlist. Another standard question: do you have SKSE.ini memory patch? http://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender Some more info here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/753253-only-you-can-prevent-forest-fires/
  21. Your SKSE.ini settings are really weird and doesn't make any sense. It should look like that: [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 EnableDiagnostics=1 [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 Memory settings can't work and you crash, if values aren't right.
  22. First, what saurusmaximus said about SKSE memory patch. Second, you have a lot mods changing your core gameplay. Civil War Overhaul is cool mod, but I certainly wouldn't put it into such modlist. I'd recommend it to lighter list with less other overhauls included. Summerset isles was problematic too for many people. Ideally such list requires some additional custom patching too, as nobody can't make patches for all possible players setups.
  23. If its not laptop, it's usually no reason to run injector version. You system should handle most reasonable enb presets (graphical enhancements) at 60fps no problem. If you're trying newest 303 version, maybe you turned on enboost new experimental lines, what are still under testing and can cause performance problems for some users. New values are under [Threads] section: DataSyncMode and PriorityMode. If this is the case, turn those values to zero and maybe it makes some difference. @ivory_Soul. SKSE.ini memory tweak is required basically for all modded games. It doesn't matter how powerful and how much ram, if your game first memory block fills up, your game crashes. Memory tweak helps here. Gopher is talking about exactly same thing, just SSME is older version of SKSE.ini tweak = Sheson memory patch merged into skse. Also unless you're trying to use some heavy enb preset or super ultra settings, you shouln't have so bad performance with enb's. 970 can run many of them at 60 fps. Currently using Vividian standard settings (turned off DoF) and have 60fps everywhere except bigger settlements, where it drops around 40-50.
  24. If you run enb, then you already have enboost, but do you have SKSE.ini memory tweak? Without this your list can easily run out of memory. Not so important, but I see bashed patch on your modlist (should be in end of your priority list, not first), but I can't see it in you active plugins list. Building and using bashed patch is recommended.
  25. Sort your MO left panel right. In priority order list texture files certainly shouldn't be higher priority than main dlc files. Priority order from start should be Dawnguard, Hearthfires, Dragonborn, Unofficial patch, High rez textures 1,2,3 and then everything else. Your resource files are loaded in wrong order, it can cause issues.
