Deleted2047838User
When i first intalled Wrye Bash (vesion 2.82), i began experimenting with its bashed patch features. I decided to tweak the spell names, just to see what they did in-game. I didn't really like the new names that it used, so i tried to remove the feature by unchecking the box in the "Rebuild Patch" menu that pops up when you want to update your bashed patch. This did not turn off the tweaked names. At that time, I didn't really care, so I continued on with my game. I recently installed the Less Annoying Lagic Experience (LAME) mod, which changes the spell effects of some of the in game spells, and in addition, adds some new spells and improves the magical experience of the game. The problem is that this feature that I tried to remove from my bashed patch overwrites the names of the spells that LAME changes, and as a result, some of the spells don't make sense anymore, which ruins the immersion for me. If someone could tell me how to remove this feature from my patch, it would be much appreciated.
Hickory
The problem with this feature is that it saves the changed names to your save file. There is an option in Wrye Bash to rename spells (right click on a save file) manually -- very tedious with lots of spells. The only name tweak that make any sense to me (not including the Import Names option) is the Notes and Scrolls.
