A small Warhammer mod.

It is a very small Warhammer project that I have started.

I can only model as of now. (Modeled for Mount&blade many times)

I know how to work with textures and meshes a little bit. But don't worry. I can learn from my sources.

I am planning to use other sources of models/items that people have created.

Which are in fact waiting on their consent as of now.

And of course most of the credits will be towards their beautiful work, no doubt.

Its nothing too major, more of an add-on I guess. Hopefully it'll build up to a total conversion.

But lets not think about that now.

Vampire Counts/undead army Vs. Imperial Reiksguard/town militia.

The mod will consist of 2 camps. (Or bases if you will.)

A castle among some ruins. (Vampire Counts)

&

A small town, encampment (occupied with Reiksguard/towns people)

To sum it up, lots of zombies and skeletons. On going fighting in between.

At night the vampires will come out of the castle and lead the fight.

You can't join the vampires side.

There's no end to it. No quests as of now.

Just new items.

Attempted Warrior Priests stuff.

Reiksguard gear.

Empire weapons.

Blood Knight armor.

Reiksguard horse.

Textures by Zira, presents the Reikland armored horse:

Its a small start. But its better than no Warhammer mod.

There's no release date anytime soon.

But I'll try my hardest to take the steps forward.

I am a working man, you know? Gotta bring home the bread and butter. Lol

Otherwise my wife would kick my ass.

Cheers!

The tools:

The Elder Scrolls Construction Set: This is the primary tool you use for modding in Oblivion. It's used to place buildings, write quests, landscape, make dialogue, and build NPC's, along with a huge myriad of functions.

NifSkope: This tool is primarily used for retexturing, although I'm sure there's a ton of other uses for it that I haven't figured out yet.

Blender: I'm not sure if the Mount and Blade tool will work for Oblivion. If it doesn't, this is the 3d modeling tool most people use to work with Oblivion. You'll need to install Python and PyFFI, as well as NifScripts to be able to use it to model for Oblivion. All those other programs can be found inside the file for Blender.

7-Zip: This is used to open the multitude of compressed files found on TESNexus, although WinRAR works just as well.

Edit: Crap, did I post this in the wrong thread? I saw one somewhere where someone wanted to know the tools of modding..

Thanks for the links mate.

Its not really a request, I guess if people would lend a helping hand or want to add in something they made.

This is just a little redemption on the promise of a Warhammer mod.

The mod is just plain and simple.

Most of it is already there.

Just gotta add a little here or there to make it more Warhammer resembled.

Which isn't a whole lot of work.

Maybe eventually once I get brushed up on my modeling, maybe work on some Chaos stuff.

But again, save that for another time.

Thats interesting your wife can beat you up

A friend of mine are actually making a compilation of Warhammer weapons and armor

Sure, anything would help, man.

And yeah... she sorta can, she is pregnant.

So I guess she has all right to. :P
