ElricOfGrans
I have spent the day trying out the suggestions there. I set the core affinity/priority as suggested, but that made the game unplayable (7 FPS, down from 20). Dropping priority from Realtime to High fixed that, but there was no noticeable difference in the game after this. I had previously used Streamline, but found it caused more problems than it solved. I tried again, using just Streampurge and Streamsave. I tried tweaking the settings multiple times, but it always reduced performance and increased instability --- I could not play more than five minutes without a crash when using Streamline. I removed it again, noticing performance/crashes immediately returning to what I had grown accustomed to.
