Mlucci4036
I've been toying around with re-textures lately, and there is a specific weapon and armor I wish to have glow when the player equips or wears it. Just a normal Neon glow, nothing more. I'm not sure how I would go about doing this, can anyone enlighten me as to how this could be done?
KiCHo666
You need to use glow maps. Those are textures that have highlighted parts you want to glow, while parts in black will not glow.Next, you need to add that texture to the mesh and enable it by setting Emissive color to color you choose and increase Emit multi to something higher than 1, higher number means more glow. kingvrage
I'm reeeaaally confused here,..... you can't open a .dds in Nifskope.................or can you?
Deleted1205226User
A .dds is a texture. You have to open and work textures in a graphic program (Gimp, Photoshop, Paint.net, etc..) When your texture is done, you'll use NifSkope to add it to your nif.
