What Type of Character do you play through with?

I wouldn't use the light sabers either, too lore-breaking but the rest of the set is pretty cool (the glaives are a bit much though, mostly because they are so huge.)

I bought the armor in the pocket plane, mega-multiple randomizing of the merchants will allow you to buy as many sets as you have the patience to go for. I downgraded it from massive to heavy using The Winter Forge as IMO massive just doesn't look good on elves.

I just downloaded Winters forge and as for the Pocket plane are you using the newer beta version or the older one? As for winters forge will have to admit that it looks like it's pretty easy to use.

Filename is Innodils_Pocket_Plane_2_0_BETA_2-410 so I guess that would be the beta. I have rigged it to work permanently in Awakenings also.

Well I did download and have it installed and will have to admit that it's great. Curious on a couple of things though. How'd you get it to work in Awakeings and how do you upp armor to a higher tier? I've read about this being able to be done but have yet to figure out how to do this.

Ok, to get it to work in AW you need to open your addins.xml file located in your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings folder. Open with notepad or preferably notepad++. Go all the way to the end of the file where it says </AddInsList>, go up one line where it says </AddInItem>, place the cursor at the end of the line and hit enter to make a new line. Copy and paste the following text into the file, save and exit.

If you use DAMM it will now show up twice, once for Origins and the second for AW.

The easy way to up weapons and armor to a higher or lower tier is to use The Upgrade Wand. It is also handy for changing the color of clothing on NPC's.

I'm currently running a Male Human Noble Warrior (My first playthrough used this). Although since I recently did a full uninstall/reinstall to get the toolset working (which didn't work) it removed all of my achievements (damnit!). I'm using a shield/sword weapon setup because just using a single sword doesn't give any bonuses and the 2 hander is too slow for my tastes though I might change to that. (Just got him to Lothering). I will probably end up switching too dual wielding at some point or another.

What is DAMM? As I am not sure if I'm using it or not and want to make sure. Also There was 2 files for the upgrade wand that you mentione one for DOA and One for Awakenings Do I need to install both of them since I've got Both of them?

Thanks for all your help.

I thought that your achiievements were saved online? After all when I had to do a re-install because I couldn't get honnelath to open up due to a bad install of the DLC I stil had what achievements for which I had accomplished up to that point. Currnetly I'm running a Female Warrior nobe, Dual weapon. Started out sword and shield but soon as I got a hold of a dagger the shild was gone.<G> Of course I still want to run through as an Elf and a dwarf. Might go with a Dwarf thief and an Elven Mage just so that I can get all the various story lines. Don't really care for a mage but if I do run one it will be a Arcane Warrior.<G>

As for me I'm Doing the Redcliffe part searching for the Urn of sacred ashes. I just got to the Top of the Mt. last night and left and went back to Denerum I've got a couple of sets of drakesking armor to have made and than I'm going to take on the Dragon. Love that fight.<LOL>

I fully and completely refuse to register any games I get onto any websites at all. I don't wish for anybody to know what kinds of things I do online. This account isn't tied to the one I use to download from the nexus either. My privacy is something I would kill over.

Oh ok I was under the impression that you had to be registered online in order to play the game at all. I stand corrected on this here than.

What is DAMM?

DAMM is DAO-ModManager.

As for DAMM I'm not using that one there just never seen the need for it. As for my other question on which of the wand files for which I need to install I guess that I need to install them both if I want to use it in awakenings right? <G>

I see it works for AW so you can just install both. I had to do that fix with so many mods it is hard to keep track of which ones I fixed and which ones were fixed by the modder. Go with the 1_35.

I've played the game through as a dual-wielding rogue and half way as a two-handed warrior.

Now I'm playing as an archer rogue. It's been fun, but I'm not really sure how I should set up my party. Currently I have Alistair as a tank, Wynne as a healer and Morrigan as a stun/debuff mage (hexes, sleep, cone of cold... etc.)

I might try to use Leliana as a dual-wielder instead of Morrigan, but I don't know how I'm going to manage without her spells.

I pretty much suck at tactics and all that anyways, I play on normal.
