Quetzlsacatanango
Last week someone posted some photos in the fallout3 image share, that were of "wasteland" type landscapes. I thought this was interesting and could be useful to someone, but I guess it got reported since it wasn't a screenshot or the connection was not obvious enough, and the person got banned for "posting their vacation photos". So now there is some gag photo posted of Gandalf with an assault rifle. At least as unrelated to the game as last week's wasteland vacation photos. Can someone please explain the difference between the two, and why one user is banned and another is not?Thank you.
JimboUK
Maybe no one has reported it.
Surenas
The point of safe return is clearly determined: "Game related", that is more or less playable stuff (thus design drafts and "fan art" included), no matter if there a Gandalf hikes into the waste or an anime figurine with Pinocchio nose. The freedom of a full range, but "Me in the Negev region last month" is hardly meant here. Ever wonder why people are always searching for gaps in the system, so-called backdoors? :woot: Take your protein pills, boyshttp://www.abload.de/img/anne9hol.gif
Eiries
Indeed. While it does not nessecarily have to be a screenshot, it does need to be related to the game at hand. For example, user Mavrosh occasionally posts Oblivion related characters (dremora and the like) generated in DAZ. Slof occasionally posts traditional art pieces of the same variety. Both are fine. However, if you see an image of an anime character posted for someone's signature or random shots of walks on the beach... it is report worthy. The imageshare is not an image hosting site, and should not be used as such. As far a Gandalf goes... while it's not immediately relevant to either game, it does share qualities of both. Since it's not directly being used as an image hosting method, it's not really the worst crime there is. It reeallly doesn't belong there... but it's not really something anyone will probably freak over and report. More smile, laugh and enjoy it more than anything else. This is good. This is not. Quetzlsacatanango
Seems that pictures of actual wastelandish landscapes would be at least as related as that. People could use them as reference for their mods, etc.

There's always a logical limit, a separating line between game virtuality and reality. Let it go at that.Geography and News sites are hosting enough material for those actually interested in desert stuff, for example. No good reason to get nuked here by daily CNN sandstorms or Mogadishu vacation impressions (the own or the unasked ones by others).
