theuseless Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 Has anybody been able to successfully make thier own Reznod Mannequins? I have copied all the stuff that I can find, but haven't figured out how to get them in game. I made a new race with my own prefix to the RezMans. I made a custom race and set all the settings to the same as the Rez's. I also made the scripts (adding my prefix, again), all the scripts compile. I made the container, the 64 male and 64 female mannequins in the custom cell. I made the trigzone. I haven't messed with any meshes (yet). I made the custom package, every setting copied exactly. I haven't found any quest scripts to copy. When I load my mod, the only 2 warnings are the usual warning that you would get in the Reznod's Mannequins (though they have 4). The only thing that I can't figure out is maybe I didn't make the race properly. I'm fairly sure that is all that I have done, but might have missed something. If there is anybody out there that knows how to make a custom rezman, let me know. I have skills in scripting (albiet limited, I have made some medium complexity scripts of my own) and texturing (I can draw, photograph or use programs to make art and patterns) If somebody can help me to make my own Reznod Mannequins to place in my mod, I will do what I can to help you in your mod. Just let me know what you want. I will post back tomorrow with custom textures that I have made. I really want these custom mannequins placed in my mod. Reznod made the best. theuseless Posted August 18, 2010 Author Share Posted August 18, 2010 So I am able to get the mannequins into my mod, but when I enter the cell in the room, the mannequins' meshes are all goofed. I have been able to make my own mannequins, but now I have texture problems. The textures look all right with light bright mode, but it says that I'm missing one. The mannequins look fine other than that. They appear to have all the textures, the body, eyes, head, hands, etc all show up. But I still get the yellow ! box. If there is anybody out there that can point me to the program that you can identify textures in game with, I would love to give kudos. These mannequins are so close to being able to pose in game. I will be making my own textures for the mannequins, but I need to make sure that I have everything working properly. I can pick up and pose the mannequins just fine, I'm fairly sure that all the scripting works now. I just need to make this mesh work. Kudos for any help at all,theuseless ps this mod will be independent of other mods. It will not require any other mods to work. I have coppied and made unique all the content that reznod's mannequins shows in tes4edit.
