Reciprocation has it's place, but you will find that 99.9% of modders are eager to share their work for absolutely no return -- it's what makes a community such as this tick. Don't get me wrong: there is nothing wrong with you wanting something in return -- I cannot see that the hair would be a requirement of the armour -- but I'll bet you have done your share of heavy downloading...am I right?
