Gold Values

I'm trying to bring copper and silver into the mix for coinage. Copper would have a value of .01 gold and silver .1 gold. However, it is not letting me set the fractional gold values. I know that the program can handle fractional gold empirically (try selling a 1 gp item to someone who does not give you 100% value). Does anyone know if this is possible? The other thought I have is to set a copper piece at 1, silver at 10, and gold at 100, and multiply all of the values by 100 (not something I'd really look forward to...)

Thanks

But is it really worth the effort? I mean, how many things are really cheap enough that an extra .10 gold is going to make a difference? Will you really notice when you sell that daedric weapon if its 5000.25 or 5000? Unless you're talking about a complete change of the morrowind economy, in which case you'll have to redo all the prices anyway. (pick up even single arrows or plant parts and you'll have enough gold to be above the <1 scale anyway)

What I'm trying to do is come up with a lower-gold, large, more role-playing mod to be played separately from Vvardenfell, in which many of the smaller items (foodstuffs, etc) are priced in the <1 gold category. Also, by having gold and other coins actually have a weight, I'm hoping to make it so that players will have to make a choice about which treasure they carry, gold or equipment. There will be depositories/moneychangers so that if you can get the treasure to them, you can get it changed into larger denominations (for a price, of course).

The easiest way to do it is to make normal "gold" be copper and make a new type of currency that is Gold that is worth, say, 10, and Silver worth, say, 5. Prices would be listed in copper instead of in gold, unless there is a way to script a change in the pricing display.
