PlayerFaction in GECK?

Hi, although I already made a thread similar to this, it's in the wrong place.

 

Anyway, I want to create a companion as my first mod, however, I have already run into my first problem.

 

The tutorial says I should set my companion to the PlayerFaction. I can't find it, there is only CreatureFaction.

 

If anyone can help, it would be great.

You did create you character as an NPC?

 

In the Factions box right click and use add and you should get a list of factions, scroll down and select the one you want.

As you can see, CreatureFactions is the only one there. I'm probably missing something completely obvious.

Go to Actors NPC

Open you new NPC in edit mode, (by double clicking it) go to the Factions tab

did you at least checkmark the box for "Fallout3.esm" in "Data..." in the "file" dropdown list?

Ah, that'll be why then, I'm such a damned idiot. Thanks, now I can create my companion :)
