I play a modded Fallout 3, but I've had a bad problem for awhile. Normally, it happens seemingly hourly, but it's pretty unpredictable as of late. It can happen anywhere, whether during a loading screen, or right after killing an enemy, once from a mole rat. Separate as in remove the plugins out of the data directory Or create a options folder in the Data directory and Just move the files into that , Get rid of data you do not want the game to load. Un-checking them does not mean the game will not load the data in ram as it WILL load all data in that directory, even dead mods.Or best suggestion is to remove them out of the games directory period. Most of the time it is a mesh or a texture mixup some where in the games set of files.It's kinda hard to explain in short terms. But , you do need to start at one point. If I shown you what i Go through just to get a perfected set of files set up Just right, you would give up modding cuz, the amount of time and thought required to figure out just exactly what the game needs and does not need. It can drive you nut's. I have at present 3 mods .OF them only one has zero mesh or textures in it, the second one has very little ,but the last one has over 500MB in it, yet all three of these mods touch only Flora data and some ? weather data?....this is hard for me to explain, the arrangement of the mods causes the weather and lighting to change...in a big BIG way . only 3 of these, and fallout3.esm only and it is NOT 1.7 patched. It's raw vanilla. I have to use Mod Orginiser to keep things tightly controlled BUT, I also use the raw game too...all at the same time.IN game, I am going along for a test run, given some cells did or do not take well with the additional data placed in spots that cross dividers. Say I increased the size and shape of a tree? and that tree is sitting right next to a wall, a cell wall you can not see, it's like a giant Cube, big blocks, each grid is a block of data. the lines that form the walls are two blocks that meet at a point, some points they cross over, Over lap..and when the players actions cause the cell to load and an action or *.kf file...animation takes place on one of these segments, the game will freeze or CTD. Objects ion the world space......not quite in the right place cause it. Noe of this means a darn thing to you I can bet, but I did say, it's hard to explain. your game is way over modded, in fact I can bet 99% of the earlier mods had their data over written so now the remains mods point to data that is foreign to them. do you understand?.......Ok. heroines to test and view. there isa mod that paces a settlement outside the megaton town area, shop keepers and buildings, NPC's and shacks and things, Lot's and lot's of scripting going on, running all the time the instant you trigger a cell load in that area. another mod that exhibits this bug but can be avoided if the player...that's you .waits when you get near the areas effected.Cybernetic dawn has this phenomena in it, it over taxes the engines ability to process random instances of internal AI game Plights. Fights between NPC's automated but only take place when you trigger it.Rivet city is one zone, Bethesda ruins is another. waiting just outside the town when you hear the shooting start, say maybe 30 minutes in the bushes, then it's safe to go into town and loot all the dead people. Prior to that? no way ...IF you have too much game material loaded up in ram, CTD time. OR supper freeze...NO PC controls respond ,the machine just locks up. there is no errors in the mods, it's the shear amount of activity overwhelming the games engine or the system's OS given limits, your systems settings as well as the games settings....Ability to handle it all. bushed whacked as they can say.kitty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OF these, I am using no resources from these mods packages, only their plugins...in order to view how and what the code is effecting with out bunching up a bunch of textures and mash files from ports or things not meant to be in the game. If you Blow up megaton...where is the data, where did it go? It's still there, only you can't see it........that is game bloat. My file works on the same principles. The trick is not to step on others toes, not to use the same targets....Problem is you end up do Just that and then we have what you posted here......inquisitively asking WHY. 1 +2 +3 = Grass, plush beautifully crafted floras, Plush fields holding gobs and gobs of flowers ,just the ticket for the girls out there. It requires the right sequence of events, then to isolate and remove the bloat, testing and procedure are required and a lot of time. That massive load order you posted here is typical for the nexus crowds. Some of these mods flat out rank Bethesda Ideas of what a game really is. Some are even larger than the resources they claim to be using.....so how is that possible? The floras I found in some of these Fo3 mods..are from the skyrim data base as I have downloaded those packs and inspected the contents, matched them to all from fallout3's contents and mods and find no matches., and matched them to FNV's mods and contents.a lot of data is from other games too, Mass effect is one of them, A Russian made game. I see a fire sale...in the gaming industry, still no roses for me. all this and no real flowers or real personally made data, just copies of copies...shared across the world as we know it and back to WHY is my game crashing all the time. M48A5 Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 You need to rearrange you load order. You have compatibility patches loading before the file they are patching. You do not need the DLC plugins when you are using Fellout-Full. The various mod plugins you have for the DLCs should be loaded in the same order as the DLCs.
